Logothete

The Logothete is the head of House Mercere in the Theban Tribunal. Previously appointed every seven years, since 1186 the post has been for life or until retirement. The logothete is tasked with maintaining the redcap network and appointing redcaps to serve as assistants to the Archai of each Phyle.
