While based on an explicit guideline, it is very strange to be able to contact the spirit so easily. Troupes that want to maintain speaking to the dead as an impressive feat may want to use an InMe spell with an Arcane Connection range, with the body serving as an arcane connection to the departed spirit. This is also the mechanism used in the Rego Mentem spell Incantation of Summoning the Dead, and the troupe may want to consider if it wishes to maintain them all.
