This article is about the Infernal power. For the Hermetic crisis of diabolic corruption, see Corruption of House Tytalus.
Corruption is a major theme of the Ars Magica Fifth Edition Sourcebook Realms of Power: The Infernal, and a danger that some Troupes and campaigns must guard against.
Mechanically, it is implemented as a Supernatural Ability aligned with the Infernal Realm. It allows the character to subtly lead others to evil. Mechanically, this is handled by forcing other characters to make a Personality Trait roll if they hear the character speak, study his/her writings, or are taught Arts or Abilities by him/her[1].
A Major Supernatural Virtue of the same name grants access to the Ability.[2]
