The Definitive Edition is a collectors-edition published by Atlas Games as an edited Fifth Edition. It is based on the standard Fifth Edition core rulebook, but incorporates errata, extra material from supplements, and clarifications, as well as far better art and graphical layout.
The Definitive Edition was published as a result of the kickstarter, that included the introduction of the Open License and the publication of all of Ars Magica (including the Definitive Edition itselt) as Open Content.
