Thermakopolis was a covenant of Jerbiton magi founded in the Theban Tribunal, in Constantinople, in 1115 by House Jerbiton magi dedicated to protecting Contantinople. It was destroyed in 1204 during the sack of the city. See The Sundered Eagle pages 23 and 99. The only survivors of Thermakopolis were Petros of Jerbiton, the apprentice to the destroyed covenant's leader and Mathieus of Jerbiton, who fled to exile in Paris. See The Lion and the Lily, page 87. Petro later founded Michaels Tabula in honor of his master and Thermakopolis.
