Fenicil was the first primus of House Guernicus, assuming office in 832.[1] He is known for providing evidence that the Order of Hermes is the latest manifestation of an ancient society of magi[1]. (The Cult of Mercury was the previous manifestation of this mystical, perpetual organization.)

Fenicil assembled an extensive collection of pre-Hermetic magic, including what are believed to be Egyptian rituals. This collection includes powerful, secret rituals now known as Fenicil's Rituals.

As primus of his House, Fenicil would have resided in the domus magna, Magvillus, and would have been the Presiding Quaesitor of any Grand Tribunals that met during his term.
