Gothic is a variety of the Dead Language Academic Ability. It sees some use within House Bjornaer.

Interestingly enough, a translation of the German Wikipedia article on the Gothic Language suggests the historical Crimean Goths, a strand of the Ostrogoths who remained on the Ukranian pennisula of Crimea, may have still used Gothic as late as the 18th century A.D. The English language Wikipedia article otherwise indicates that, though there was at a one point a Gothic language Bible, the language appeared to have died out by about the eighth century A.D.
