Thermakopolis

From 1115 to 1204 a Constantinople covenant of House Jerbiton magi led by one Michael after whom the current covenant of Michael's Tabula is named. All of the magi bar one died in the Fall of Constantinople in 1204. Thermakopolis was sworn to defend Constantinople, and failed in the task. See The Sundered Eagle 23, 99 The only survivors of Thermakopolis were Michael's apprentice Petros who helped found Michael's Tabula and Mathieus of Jerbiton who fled to exile in Paris (see The Lion and the Lily 87).
