Literally a "knight", a miles (pronounced "MEE-lays") is a member of the milites of House Flambeau. The milites (pronounced "MEE-li-tays") is a group of magi within House Flambeau pursuing knightly ideals, including camaraderie and honor[1]. Their distinguishing feature is their code of honor, called the "Code of Garus"[2]
Story Flaw
A Minor Story Flaw, "Miles"[3] makes a character a member of the milites and confers both benefits and obligations.
