Announced Products

These are products that have been announced on the Atlas Games Web site.

Rumors

From time to time, there are credible rumors about what might be expected further in the future. Since these plans haven't been officially confirmed, they might not materialize at all, or the final form might be different what what we presume here.

Hooks Open Call

In April, 2011, David Chart issued an open call[1] for contributions to a new Ars Magica book, whose working title is "Hooks". This is meant to be a collection of short scenarios that introduce the characters into some large topic covered by another ArM5 book, such as Ancient Magic, Rival Magic, TMRE, or really anything the author can think of.

The deadline for this open call was June 26, 2011. The announcement hints that the actual book will probably appear in 2013.

Additional Tribunal books

There will likely be at least some additional Tribunal books for the Tribunals that have not yet been detailed[2]. As of February 2012, the remaining Tribunals (which have never had their own dedicated sourcebook) are Hibernia, Transylvania, and Provençal.

Egypt

David Chart mentioned on the official forum that an Ars Magica book dealing with Egypt was in the very early stages[3] and is "years (literally)" away.

Frequently-Asked Questions

Can one of the authors or playtesters leak details of (upcoming supplement)?
A:In a word, no. Authors and playtesters enter a legally binding non-disclosure agreement with Atlas Games. If one of them were to leak details about a product before it was published, he or she would be hung, drawn, and quartered.

This question seems to come up occasionally on the Mailing Lists and official forum. It's true that several Ars Magica authors are regular posters to both fora, but that doesn't mean they will let anything slip. Sorry.
